PROCESS: INTRO

Every project necessitates a structured design and consultation process, tailored to each client. Our extensive three-phase process covers:

(1) Space planning and architecture (2) Interior architecture and palette (3) Interior decoration and FF&E specification

The scope of works, timescales and budget are ascertained during the first series of consultations.

PROCESS: PHASE 1

Phase 1 is intended primarily for new-builds, renovations and furniture layouts, and is fundamental to residential and commercial projects.

We begin by exploring conceptual ideas and layouts and establishing the overall parameters of each space.

Phase 1 is extremely cost effective relative to build costs, and prevents improvised decisions and fundamental mistakes on-site.

PROCESS: PHASE 1

A well defined spatial plan ensures that each room meets its requirements prior to choosing materials, colours and soft furnishings.

As the project gains momentum and layouts become more definitive, ideas begin to take shape in the form of drawings and 3D images.

PROCESS: PHASE 1

Fundamental to the process is a 3D computer replica of the building, from which walkthroughs and visuals are generated, encouraging a full and on-going critique of the design proposals.

Phase 2 commences once all parties have agreed on the proposed 2D and 3D layouts.

PROCESS: PHASE 2

Phase 2 – the interior architecture and palette, covers a multitude of areas including:

(1) Kitchens and bathrooms (2) Lighting, electrics and AV (3) Architectural detailing

Every decision made during this process is designed and simulated in 3D.

PROCESS: PHASE 2

We encourage all trades to acquaint themselves with the drawings and 3D data throughout the design process, ensuring that the plans are implemented as envisaged.

The completed interior fit out naturally sets the scene for the interior design and decoration.

PROCESS: PHASE 3

Phase 3 addresses the procurement and implementation of furniture and accessories, combining bespoke pieces with items sourced from our extensive list of international suppliers.

A carefully selected palette of materials and samples forms the basis of the interior scheme, ensuring furniture and soft furnishings are appropriately combined.

PROCESS: PHASE 3

Styling and accessories add a final layer of personalisation to complement the room and the architecture.

Our process and philosophy ensures that everything from an intimate lounge to the grandeur of a period renovation is well planned and seamlessly implemented, resulting in a design that is crafted as one composition.
